Aspiring to become a barrister? New mini-pupillage scheme promotes social mobility at the Bar

A new work experience scheme provides mini-pupillages for aspiring barristers from under-privileged backgrounds.

The Pegasus Access Scheme, launched by the Inner Temple earlier this month, will match up university students and recent graduates with sets of chambers for mini-pupillages of 2–5 days’ length. 42 barristers’ chambers have signed up to the scheme, making it the largest of its kind.
